rhinoplasty and dental work

M is wiggling her first loose tooth! Big girl school, big girl teeth. I am sure there is a boyfriend around the corner and Hubby will be getting ready to fend off the hoards of boys who will be sniffing around. I am as excited as she is to lose a tooth and have the Tooth Fairy visit, but it still makes me want to cry. She is my BABY!
A week later after B's sidewalk rhinoplasty. (She face planted last week at her aunt and uncle's and then was hit in the face with an RC car.) Oh the blood. Never thought a nose could bleed that much.

She found the owie a good chance to make a fashion statement with band aids. We went through Dora, Barbie and Hello Kitty.

You would never know that it was a big ole scab underneath. She hated taking the band aids off though. Hubby's cousin's wife Nancy gave us some terrific advice though and a little mineral oil took most of the sticky off when the band aids had to be changed.

New Coats

New coats for the girls. the girls got new coats this weekend. M is very excited that she now has a "Broncos" coat and wants to add some Bronco bling to make it even more Broncos. B of course got Pink. Because Pink is her FAV or ITE color ever. Goofy girls. They could not have come at a better time. Despite the end of season sales we are definately still in winter. Got lots of snow this morning.

Old home week

Chocolate pirate beard. Jan 09
Breckenridge snow sculpture Jan 09

Did not take any new pics this week of the girls. But I did notice that sis-in-law posted a pic of the girls from this summer. Thought I would put up some pics from this time last year. We have all seemed to heal up from our injuries of last week. Hubby's knee was better until we bled the brakes on the red car. B seems to have gotten over her cold and her arm is all better. M's knee is all better from falling on the ice at school. Also brought home her report card this week and got all A's same as last quarter. We are very proud of her.

Short week

This week was a short week. The Monday holiday spent with Dr visits. Tuesday with M sick. Alot of sleep and alot of rest for the family to prevent more sickies. Here are some pics of the girls in bed. Notice the splint in the first on pic. We are not splinting anymore. It was more for show even that night.

B the Birthday Girlio

B turned 3 years old last week. WOWY! She is becoming a big girl. She got a new big girl booster car seat. No more 5 point harnesses that require pinching, readjusting and basically squashing her to get her in. She is very excited that her seat matches M's. She can get in herself (save the snapping the belt.) She can unsnap all by herself. A great boost of self confidence for little miss independent. What a year!

New Year Revolution

So some pictures from the end of the year....

OK OK So I have been really lax since October in blogging. October was when I started the overhaul on the house to prepare for Christmas. Then of course it was cookie time. Lots and lots of cookies. Oh and did I mention cookies. Hubby was a great help and the girls remained out of the kitchen for customer cookies. Disappointed that they did not have edible playdoh in the form of fondant.

So the year of the Tiger has begun. Grrrrr. We have a 3 year old now. It seems like just yesterday that M was skipping down the hospital hall singing that B was here.

I will be better this year promise.
